Chittorgarh. Around 50 students from Jammu and Kashmir had enrolled in the nursing course under the Jammu and Kashmir Special Scholarship Scheme in the year 2022 at Mewar University located in the district. During the study, the students came to know that the nursing college of Mewar University was not recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Rajasthan Nursing Council and they were admitted on the basis of a lie by the representative of the university. After two years, when the water passed through Sir, the students and students have now sat on a dharna in the university itself.
When no one listened to the students, the aggrieved students sought help from the Aam Aadmi Party. The delegation, led by state vice-president Kirti Pathak and district president Anil Kumar Chandel, met the students at the university.
After meeting the students, state vice-president Kirti Pathak raised some important questions against the state government and the university administration. He said that the children were selected and placed through the Jammu and Kashmir Special Scholarship Scheme, so who was the middleman who was playing with the future of the children and who got the children admitted to an unregistered university? The university administration is repeatedly pleading that the case is going on in the court, but he is pleading for the recognition of the nursing college of his university, where is his plea for these suffering children? Is it not child-friendly to admit children without registration with the Indian Nursing Council or the Rajasthan Nursing Council? If the university administration is serious about the future of the children, what efforts have they made so far for the degree of the children? When those competent authorities were asked this, we got the same roundabout answer that we have gone to the court, the university has gone to the court for recognition, not for the degree of the children. Why did they not submit an affidavit in the court that it is our fault that we falsely admitted some children for the degree of nursing in 2022 when we did not have the necessary permission, that is, the registration of the university with the Nursing Council was not valid and the future of these children is in danger today. Today, the situation is such that the children are stressed today, their future looks bleak in front of them, they feel that their two years of hard work will be wasted. In this case, the Congress government has kept a blind eye for a long time and now these children, victims of the insensitivity and lies of Mewar University, are nowhere in the priority list of the BJP government. The Aam Aadmi Party delegation on Monday asked the university administration to ensure the future of the students at the earliest.
Chandel said that a team of top office bearers of the Aam Aadmi Party Rajasthan in the presence of state vice-president Kirti Pathak will meet the AAP central leaders after November 5 and will try to get justice to the students who have suffered from the insensitivity of Mewar University. The delegation included Chittor district president Anil Chandel, Bharat Chashta, Ranjit Khatik and others.
