Chittorgarh (Salman). The district level event of Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit has been organized at Kaiserbagh Palace on Thursday. As many as 228 investment proposals worth Rs 8,345 crore have been received in the programme, which will provide employment to more than 18,000 people. Addressing the programme virtually, Deputy Chief Minister and district in-charge Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa said that the government has been working from day one to fulfill the resolve of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's developed India and Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma's developed Rajasthan. Industries of the country and the world are being invited to Rajasthan.
He himself has had the opportunity to visit South Korea and Japan to invite investors. Similarly, the Chief Minister has also gone to many countries and invited industries to invest in the state. The government has simplified the rules under the Ease of Doing Business. These Investor Summits are being organized in all the districts of the state under Rising Rajasthan. He expressed happiness on receiving more than 200 investment proposals. He said that investors will set up industries in Chittorgarh and take the development of the district to new heights. Dr Bairwa said that full support would be given to the industries by the government in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, MP CP Joshi said that it is the intention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to ensure rapid industrial development in the country and the state. There is a huge potential for investment in every sector in Rajasthan. There is no shortage of land, minerals, human resources in the state and if investors get all the necessary facilities immediately, they play an important role in increasing income through investment, providing employment etc. Chief Minister, ministers and officials of the state have gone to many countries and invited investment. As a result of this, today people from all over the country and abroad are coming to invest in Rajasthan. In the coming times, India will become the third economic power in the world, in which industries will play an important role. He called for creating a friendly environment for investors. He said that the investment that will come through this investment meet will play an important role in the development of Chittorgarh and the state.
Chittorgarh MLA Chandrabhan Singh Aakya in his address said that Chittorgarh district has a lot of potential for industries. A large number of local people get employment in sectors like cement, marble, tourism etc. There is a need for everyone to make a concerted effort to create a better environment in the industries, to protect the traders. He said that the Prime Minister, Chief Minister and officials have together created a better investment climate in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Kapasan MLA Arjun Lal Jignar said that it is the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to provide employment to all in the country and with this spirit, continuous efforts are being made to create a better environment for industries in the country. The government has focused on industries to boost the state's economy. The goal of the government is to develop as many industries as possible in the state, for this everyone needs to make a concerted effort. He said that raw materials are available in large quantities in Chittorgarh district. He has also invited investors to invest in Kapasan area. He said that all necessary facilities will be provided to the investors.
District in-charge secretary Bhanu Prakash Atru said that the intention of the government is to develop industries. For this, we are constantly working on new policies. The State Government and the administration are serious about the implementation of the investment proposals and time bound implementation of the investment proposal will be ensured on priority. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Alok Ranjan said that the figure of investment in the district has doubled as compared to last time. He told the officers that their problems should be resolved on priority so that the investors succeed in their objective. The administration is with the investors for the development of industries in the district. He said that everyone will work together for the development of Chittorgarh and if there is any problem, we will solve it. On this occasion, industrialists Sudhir Bhati, Bhanu Prakash, Nitin Jain etc. also addressed the programme and put forth their suggestions, problems, experiences.
Earlier, the guests inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Rahul Dev Singh, General Manager, District Industries Centre, gave the welcome address and gave information about the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit and the investment policies of the government. He presented the possibilities of investment in the district through PPT. He spoke about simplification of rules, industrial policy, availability of basic resources etc.
Investment proposals of more than 8 thousand crores
In the program, 228 investment proposals worth Rs 8345 crore were received through public investment and offline channels, which will provide employment to more than 18 thousand people. 65 proposals worth Rs. 179.17 crore in the field of Agro and Agro Processing, 32 proposals worth Rs.590.32 crore in Tourism, 25 proposals worth Rs.404.32 crore in Mines and Minerals, 15 proposals worth Rs. 24.56 crore in Warehousing, 8 proposals worth Rs.95 crore in Solar Manufacturing, 5 proposals worth Rs.119 crore in Real Estate, 4 proposals worth Rs. 1504.78 crore in Cement, 4 proposals worth Rs. 44.5 crore in Skill Development, 4 proposals worth Rs. 33.38 crore in Textile and Apparel, 3 proposals worth Rs. 25.9 crore in Biofuel, 3 proposals worth Rs.18 crore in Chemical and Petrochemicals, 3 proposals worth Rs. 2.6 crore in M-Sand, 2 proposals worth Rs. 3057.87 crore in Renewable and Non-renewable Energy, 2 proposals worth Rs.15 crore in Social Infrastructure, 1 proposal worth Rs.1,100 crore in Ceramics and Glass and 58.64 crore in other sectors have been received so far.
Overview of the exhibition, short film screening
On this occasion, the guests visited various stalls in the exhibition and saw and appreciated the display of development, handicrafts and other industrial products related to the district. Tourism, agro-processing, textiles, mines, cement, smilton glass, Rajivika, forest district forest products and self-service institutions held exhibitions. A short film on investment opportunities in the district was also screened on the occasion. A colourful cultural show was presented on this occasion by the school children.
