Chittorgarh Fort: The Symbol of India’s Identity and Self-Respect, says-CM Yogi

CHITTORGARH. Addressing the Jauhar Shradhanjali Samaroh as the chief guest, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid a soulful tribute to the brave women who sacrificed everything in the flames of Jauhar. Bowing to the sacred land of Chittorgarh a beacon of valor, sacrifice, and self-respect—he stated that the legacy of these women, who gave their lives for Sanatana Dharma, dignity, and the motherland, remains unparalleled in global history.
"The Chittorgarh Fort is not merely a structure made of stones; it is the living symbol of India’s identity and pride. We learn the true meaning of sacrifice and tradition from this holy ground," the Chief Minister remarked.

Inspiration from Rajasthan
Connecting his personal lineage to the region, CM Yogi mentioned his Dada Guru’s ties to Rajasthan. He credited the glorious traditions of Chittorgarh and Rajasthan as the driving force behind the positive developments and governance currently taking place in Uttar Pradesh.
He further emphasized that Jauhar was not a struggle for power or empire, but a stand for female dignity and national honor. "This program ensures that no sister or daughter ever has to face such a period again. It is a guarantee of security and respect for every woman," he added.
